How Tailor Makes Money

Tailor is a free service. We earn money through affiliate commissions. When you click a link on Tailor to visit a retailer's website and make a purchase, we may receive a small commission from that retailer. This is how we keep Tailor free for you.

How Affiliate Links Work

  1. You search for a product on Tailor (e.g., "black leather jacket").
  2. We show you results from multiple retailers (Nike, Zara, Nordstrom, etc.).
  3. You click on a product that interests you. This takes you to the retailer's website.
  4. If you make a purchase on that retailer's website, the retailer pays us a small commission (typically 1-15% of the sale price).
  5. The price you pay is exactly the same whether you arrived through Tailor or directly. Our commission comes from the retailer, not from you.
